- Biogen

Challenge:
Biogen aimed to modernize its supply chain processes to support pharmaceutical technology and operations while meeting stringent compliance requirements. The company needed to implement E2Open and B2B Integration automation to enhance efficiency, outsource key processes, and introduce greater SOX controls and validations. The transformation also had to address the complexities of Advanced Supply Chain, Value Chain, and Demand Planning in a highly regulated environment.

Solution:
I partnered with Biogen & the system integrator Deloitte, to develop a holistic change management strategy, focusing on integrating E2Open and automating B2B processes. This included implementing robust SOX-compliant controls and validation mechanisms to ensure audit readiness and operational transparency. The strategy incorporated process reengineering to streamline the Advanced Supply Chain, enabling outsourced functions with minimal disruption. Additionally, this facilitated employee readiness through targeted learning programs and stakeholder engagement to drive adoption of new tools and processes.

Outcome:

Biogen achieved a seamless transition to a more automated and efficient supply chain, with enhanced SOX controls and robust validations ensuring compliance. The integration of E2Open and B2B automation optimized demand planning, reduced operational risks, and improved collaboration across the value chain. These improvements positioned Biogen as a leader in pharmaceutical supply chain innovation while maintaining strict regulatory adherence.

Challenge:
As a hypergrowth startup preparing for its IPO, Nubank faced the challenge of balancing rapid expansion with the need for compliance across multiple regulatory environments, including SOX and Work councils (Unions) compliance for Brazil and the United States. The company needed to realign its workforce and restructure its organization to meet audit and governance requirements for B3 (Brazilian Stock Exchange) and NYSE (New York Stock Exchange), all while maintaining agility and flexibility in its operations.

Solution:
